Last week, I bragged about my Father's abundance so I can understand how this title may be kiiiiinnnnd of the contrary. Truth be told - it's in these moments here where you are able to see the abundance unfold, if only you'll believe.I have said time and time again that we get so independent where we're too independent - even with God. But have you ever gotten to the point where no door opens, except the one that He opens? Have you ever tried to go left, right, back, down, forward, etc....and the only open door was right above you? You called everyone you could call. They didn't answer? Or couldn't come through?
Staring there looking at your phone...wondering "Ok, God. I get the point, but what you want from a soldier?!" LOL...You've prayed. You've cried. You've fussed. You've even complained a little, only to repent later for that. Like, your soul is at complete peace BUT...you're still going, "UH..OK LORD? What ya gone do?! You can come through ANY minute now!!"
The very people you get comfortable with are taken away. Ouch. And you know you still gotta walk in love with them because they don't even understand that it's really God blocking their hand from you in the first place! :) The very sources of security that you have created are simply gone.
Yeah...But then He comes through with someone you never expected Him to come through with. It's in that moment that you realize that God's favor is more powerful than your own strength.
See all that is apart of the process. It's completely a part of receiving the abundance sometimes. We'll never experience His hand until we understand who HE is in nature - a provider. But before He is a provider, He's a father. And I don't really know sometimes why He makes us wait. I think He likes seeing our reactions. Maybe. It's maybe that loyalty test. He wants to see if we'll fold and still try to fix it on our own. Or maybe He wants to see if we'll praise when we want to complain. Maybe He wants to build the fruit of the spirit. Whatever the reason, HE is God. We are NOT. And well...if He said He got you - *insert loudspeaker* HE GOT YOU.
*shoulder shrug*
It's really that simple. Faith is a muscle. It's currency. It must be used. NOW faith. (Hebrews 11:1) It's the substance of hope and the evidence of what you don't see. You're not crazy because you imagine things different - it's the picture of what your true man (your spirit) produces. You're not crazy for believing. It's okay to trust Him. He hears you. Even when it seems like He isn't. You may even go, "Uh...so you just not gonna answer?!"
Yeah, I feel that. I can't count how many times I myself have said it too. But. The key is - HE does answer and when He does, He's RIGHT on time! Be anxious for nothing!
Until next week...
I love you all!!!
