In this finale, which has certainly been a long time coming, we want to look into what exactly are some more supernatural reasons that sisters are single. Fair warning, these reasons may be "out of your mind," as they are supposed to be: note I mentioned, "super" natural reasons.
A spirit spouse is a demonic spirit that attaches itself to a person, and has made an illegal covenant in the spirit realm to be their husband or wife in the spirit realm. This isn’t someone they love or chose. It’s a spiritual counterfeit — something from the enemy meant to block Yah’s design for real love, marriage, and purpose. But covenants, as unfair as it may seem, stand. Many times these covenants become binding ... in your dreams.
πͺ How Does This Happen?
These spirits often enter through:
Sexual sin (unlawful sex, possibly pornography depending on the access you give)
Generational curses (family history of witchcraft, abuse, or broken marriages)
Spiritual openings (dreams, rituals, soul ties, molestation, or trauma)
Sometimes people experience these spirits in dreams — like having sex while sleeping, seeing a strange man or woman show up often, or feeling pressure on the chest at night.
π Why Is It Dangerous?
A spirit spouse wants to:
Block real marriages
Cause miscarriages, infertility, or emotional instability
Keep you bound in to the marriage and produce spirit babies
In short, it tries to imitate covenant, but it’s from the kingdom of darkness, not Yahweh.
I can testify to all of this. This is no. joke. It's warfare.
✨ What Does the Bible Say?
While the Bible doesn’t use the exact words “spirit spouse,” it gives clear warnings against unclean spirits, soul ties, and spiritual covenants that aren’t from Yah:
“What fellowship has light with darkness?” – 2 Corinthians 6:14
“They provoked Him to jealousy with foreign gods...” – Deuteronomy 32:16
“Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” – Ephesians 5:11
In the Bible, people often entered into spiritual covenants unknowingly — through idols, disobedience, or compromise — and needed deliverance to be free.
π How Do You Get Free?
Repent: Turn from any sin or door that may have opened the access. You don't always have to "give" access - sometimes you can simply not be on guard spiritually and as a result, these covenants occur.
Renounce: Break every spiritual agreement made knowingly or unknowingly.
Rebuke: Command the spirit to leave in the name of Yahshua.
Renew: Fill those places with the Word, prayer, and the Holy Spirit. Commit to holiness in your sexual walk.
Sometimes this process needs support — from a deliverance minister, a trusted leader, or Spirit-led community prayer. Sex demons are stubborn. It is my opinion that the ones that come out "through prayer and fasting" are indeed THESE type of unclean spirits - STDs: sexually transmitted demons.
A note on pornography: As I have spent majority of my life condemning many things, part of my revelation is to not call a sin what the Bible doesn't call a sin. I personally would say that pornography is not directly (nor really indirectly) condemned in scripture. So how do we approach this? As some would say that watching pornography is a "sin." Well, sin is transgression of the law and the sexual laws can be found in Leviticus 18. I would then, in integrity, have to go with what Paul said. "All things are lawful, but not all things are beneficial." I'm not trying to "hath God said," but it really is a "hath God said" topic. Now, are there are those that have a true addiction to pornography. Why? I can't say directly but I would question as follows:
Is an addiction in and of itself of Yah? No. So an addiction to pornography would not be beneficial.
Porn affects and releases the chemicals we crave naturally. Ultimately I believe that when a person yields to demonic spirits, and invites them in through watching pornogprahy - they invite these spirit spouses. What is ones mind fixated on as they watch? Are they thinking about someone? Are they masturbating to the porn thinking about someone? Or even worse, calling out spirits to come to them? This is all real.
I've experienced women coming after me in my dreams. One - we had an all down fight in my dream with me trying to get her off of me. Guess what. A few days after my dream, she messaged me admitting to lusting after me and befriending me because she was attracted to me. REAL. TALK. I wasn't "watching porn" so how was the "door open." Through her spirit calling out to me in the spirit realm. Demons literally astroproject into dreams, to physically touch you. *sigh* Like I said... this may be "too deep" but it is REAL. So, while I can't biblically defend "not watching porn", I will ask you to examine yourself.
I'm not embarrassed or "such a know it all" to say, that this controversial topic needs more in depth commentary if we're going to be Biblical about it. And I mean "really" BIBLICAL - not simply rehearsing scriptures we've been told. In integrity, I do not want to say that pornography in, and of itself, causes these spirit spouses. I know what I've been told and I know what people will say - but getting Biblical; I want to make sure I stay within the parameters of such and I encourage you to do the same. Check me if necessary and prove to me with plain scripture.
I will say concerning that: If you are not a wedded woman, fixing your eyes on such activity may not be beneficial for you. Will it cause spirit spouses immediately. Check your dreams. Check your spirit. Check with the Holy Spirit. Have an honest conversation about it within yourself and in prayer. (For some reason we don't like to be real with Yah bout this subject but ... HE KNOWS, lol!)
NOW, another aspect of warfare are these pesky, irritating ahh MARINE spirits; boy do they make so mad!!!! AND THESE, I would say are most commonly related to spirit spouses than not.
π What Are Marine Spirits?
Marine spirits are evil spirits that operate from the waters — oceans, rivers, and spiritual realms associated with the deep. Scripture often refers to “the sea” as a place where chaos, evil, or rebellion dwells (see Revelation 13:1, Isaiah 27:1).
These spirits include:
Leviathan – spirit of pride, twisting, and chaos (Isaiah 27:1, Job 41)

Jezebel/Mermaid spirits – seductive, manipulative spirits tied to lust and domination

Spirit spouses – often housed in marine kingdoms
They counterfeit beauty, seduction, intimacy, and influence — especially against women of purpose.
π How Marine Spirits Affect Women in Marriage
Marine spirits often target women to:
Destroy or delay marriage
They cause confusion in courtship, constant disappointment, and emotional sabotage. A woman may draw attention, but no covenant forms — or only trauma bonds emerge.Create false confidence or pride
Leviathan twists truth, making women feel overly independent or “above needing a man.” This isn’t godly confidence — it’s spiritual isolation disguised as strength.Manipulate through beauty and seduction

Repent – renounce any sexual sin, pride, vanity, or idolatry.
Renounce – cancel any known or unknown covenants with marine spirits.
Rebuke – cast them out in the name of Yahshua (especially Leviathan, spirit spouse, and Jezebel).
Release – replace marine manipulation with Holy Spirit clarity and inner healing.
Rebuild – walk in purity, wholeness, and biblical womanhood, letting Yah restore your feminine identity.

Incubus and succubus spirits are types of spirit spouses — demons that engage in sexual activity with humans, especially in dreams. Some women literally invite this. That is when masturbation can definitely be dangerous. What many don’t realize is that these spirits belong to the marine spirit realm — a demonic kingdom that operates under water in the spirit realm.

Succubus (female demon) – attacks men, stirring up lust, fantasy, or spiritual defilement.

Incubus and succubus spirits are assigned to delay, destroy, or counterfeit covenant by:
Forming spiritual marriages with people (without their consent)
Defiling the body and soul through sexual acts in dreams
Replacing intimacy with Yah or a real spouse with lust and fantasy
Draining energy, peace, and emotional stability
They are LEGALISTIC — meaning they often enter through:
Pornography, masturbation, and unlawful sexual acts (again, I believe this is conditional)
Abuse or trauma (especially childhood molestation)
Witchcraft, soul ties, or generational iniquity
π Why Women Are Often Targeted
Women carry wombs — both natural and spiritual. Marine spirits send incubus spirits to:
Deposit demonic seeds (in dreams) and create spiritual demonic seeds (babies)
Create barrenness, fibroids, or miscarriage
Hinder trust in Godly men
Cause spiritual confusion in identity, especially in feminine design.
Note: Many don't realize that the need to wear seductive/revealing clothing is a sign of these spirits.
Some women even feel married in the spirit, with rings or jealousy manifesting when they try to date, marry, or walk in ministry. Listen. As in the spirit, as in the natural. If you are married in the spirit realm, you cannot be married in the natural realm. Hence, singleness being a curse. Again, these spirits are legalistic and territorial.
