I was given the task to minister to a group of young ladies in October. The title Yahweh gave me was - #aCall2Purity presents...
See...after that experience I understood that a large part of me was dead. Sure, I was still living and breathing but there were things that I automatically died to. We like to say, "Well, we're going through a "process." I say: "Show me that in the scripture? Did Moses go through a 'process' to become holy and sent out? Did Paul go through a 'process'? Jacob?" While it's true that we grow from glory to glory, we've weakened this journey as a believer. We don't want to admit that really we're just comfortable and don't want to let go.
See. He said that He's a consuming fire. So when you're in His presence, REALLY in His presence, your flesh dies daily. For example, after that experience, I didn't curse anymore. I slipped up and cursed twice and I said, "I'm sorry" so quickly. I'd committed myself to sexual purity again but after that, the very thought of having sex outside of marriage was scary. I heard Yahweh say, "My people are going to stop playing with my covenant!" That shook me. Not only that, He knew the demons I enjoyed playing with and loudly told me, "You will NOT bring that filth to your marriage." I mean, after that purging - I couldn't watch certain things. I could not listen to certain things. I walked in on someone listening to a song that was so filthy, it brought tears to my eyes. My spirit was so grieved.
He burned up A LOT out of me where I literally had a purging experience. This was the second time I'd experienced this. I was laying over the garbage can vomiting just a clear substance and He continued to talk!! He told me that this spirit that I was purging was allowed to manifest itself in my life because of generational sin and ultimately my disobedience. I was covered until I, *YES I*, GAVE THE SPIRIT POWER TO OPERATE. How did I do that? I came into agreement with the devil and allowed the thoughts and actions to manifest with the desires of the flesh, which is sinful in nature.
See. We don't understand what it really means to be DEAD and LIVING only for HIM. We've made "holiness or hell" a thing of "you're judging me." π
When you're burnt, there is evidence. It hurts, but it heals and your skin is regenerated or if you're burned hot enough - NEW SKIN IS GRAFTED ON! Yes...Sometimes it's a small burn, and sometimes it's a complete damaging to your tissue burn. Yahweh wants to BURN us up! THIRD DEGREE! He says that HE is a consuming fire. Many people do not understand that when we are dead to ourselves, we give up the right to do what we want to do just because we can justify it by "none of us are perfect." BUT...What pleases your Father? And what if I told you that you are perfect to Him and desires to see that manifested perfection of you on Earth! FOR HIS GLORY!
I submit to you that many of us have been lulled to sleep with the idea that we're just "a work in process." That work in process does not excuse you from holiness. While He burned a large portion of me up that day, I still had to comply. I had to fast when He said fast. I had to seek His presence as He instructed me to. I had to play my part in not listening to filth that would defile HIS ears.
He said "You'll know them by their fruit." So check your fruit!
Yahweh's fire is CONSUMING!!! And being burnt hurts! "ARE YOU BURNT? ARE YOU DEAD to self?"
It is only when we die to this fleshly body that we can manifest the glory of the Holy Ghost. Yahweh wants to birth true power through us! Are you willing to die for that?
The BEST thing about dying to self and living for Yahweh is the CROWN OF BEAUTY He uses to replace the ASHES your flesh offering brings!!! He will not ask you to give up anything without blessing you above and beyond what you can think! Look forward to the next blog (12/22/17), "His Beauty, My Ashes."
