"Source of My Supply"

Shalom!!  What an interesting and spontaneous topic this is because I really do not worry about a blog or anything unless I believe I hear a message.  And just as the evening crept in and I took the time to meditate a little more...I was reminded of a very simple message.  I pray that it blesses you as it blessed me...

So fasten your seat belts for this one!

I was standing in prayer one morning and was just really thanking my Father for being who He is; all that He is.  And as I focused in on just Him,and the greatness of who He has been to me - not asking for a thing in the world but thanking Him for things that He has promised that have yet to manifest- I simply heard "source of my supply.

Now, I know this was not coming out of my physical mind because my physical (mind) thoughts were contrary to what I was thanking Him for!    I heard my spirit say again, "source of my supply" but this time in a song like way.  And then I remembered!  It really was a song!!  "You are the source of my supply..." I got happy!!!

I remembered this song from being a little girl in that Baptist church!  I remembered it almost like it was yesterday!  I ran to the sound booth and grabbed my phone to search the lyrics of this song.

I simply typed in all that I could remember - "you are the source of my supply.

Within seconds, I'd found it!!

I entered back into worship almost this time with tears in my eyes.  I couldn't really cry because I was full of joy!  Full of assurance that although I hadn't uttered a single word, my Father was listening to my heart.

I can't describe the true feeling.  That feeling when your mind says, "Worry.  What are you going to do?  How is that going to work out?  Do you see what you don't have?  Do you see what they're doing?  Did God really say that this was going to happen?  You're just thinking that because Susie did it and it worked for her?" and on...and on...and on.

See...from the beginning of time, the enemy has planted the "Hath God said?" question of doubt.  Why?  Because faith is one of the strongest components of the human belief system.  But so is fear.  They are in opposition with one another and you can't exercise both at the same time.

We speak what we believe.  First comes the belief, then the actions/words that line up with what we believe.  See, I can believe all day long that I'm going to see again.  But how am I applying the action of faith to my belief.

To become saved, we have to believe in our hearts but confess with our mouths.
To receive the gift of speaking in tongues, we have to believe that we receive and speak what the Spirit utters.
When Peter stepped out of the boat, he believed that He could.  Faith isn't simply believing but acting upon what you believe!  But notice he also asked Yeshua if it was His will and Yeshua replied, "Come."  This tells me that our Father wants us to experience the life that Yeshua lived and this is the zoe life! (John 10:10)  We experience this life when we do just as Peter did, - keep our eyes on Yeshua.

In other words, the key point here is this - HE IS THE SOURCE and if we stay connected to the source then we receive the resources.  Your resources may not look like mine but they'll be resources.

I believe what He was saying to me was a two-fold message:

1. Everything that you have is through Me.  There is nothing without Me.  I am the source of every single thing that you have access to.  It belongs to you because I allow you access to it.

and

2.  I am the source of your supply!  Everything you need will be supplied because it is ME who supplies it!  I will take care of you.  You don't have to depend on one thing; you don't have to depend on your intellect.  You don't have to depend on your credentials.  You don't have to depend on your status.  I, Yahweh, AM the source of every single provision!  If it doesn't come one way, it will come another way!  But just TRUST that I AM it!

When we understand this; I mean, when we truly receive the revelation of where our resources lie, then we wouldn't worry so much with the cares of the world.  We would keep our eyes on the lost sheep, as Yeshua did.  Everything He needed was supplied for Him.  Recall when He tells the disciples to go get the donkey for Him.  The disciples said "What shall we say?"  Yeshua simply replied, "Tell them the LORD has need of it." (Matthew 21:2-3)

You may go, "Well that was Jesus."  But my Bible tells me that I am in Him and HE is IN ME(In Christ Scriptures) So whatever the Father has done for the Son, we have access to these same things because we are IN HIM.  We have good and precious promises available to us! (2 Peter 1:4)

I don't know why the Holy Spirit and my spirit decided to minister to me with that song but it took me back - back to when I believed that there was much more to the God I believed in than a forty five minute service that restricted worship to an A and B selection.  It also took me back to the recognition of true worship; worship that simply reminds us who He is and magnifies Him.  And most importantly, it made me realize the importance of seeds of the Word of God planted in our lives and the fruit that they have to produce.  It made me realize that the Word truly never returns void. (Isiah 55:11)

I literally haven't heard that song since I was a little girl.  And just like that..in praise and worship, it ministered to me more than twenty years later.  Y'all, we serve a powerful God!

That morning I had no choice but to walk out of my prayer time feeling like I was truly the daughter of a king, as I am!  As are you, if you have accepted the Most High and His Son in your life.  You are a child of His and He is not an absentee daddy!

He is the source.  Go to the source.  Stay connected to the source!

Until next week if the Lord says the same...! I love y'all! If it blesses you, share it!
